Where Golf and Community Meet
Fairway Social was created to bring together golfers in Wilmington, Hampstead, and surrounding coastal North Carolina communities who are looking for something more intentional than the typical weekend tee time.
Many golfers enjoy the game but find themselves constantly trying to organize groups, coordinate schedules, or play with random pairings. At the same time, traditional country clubs often come with high costs or commitments that don’t fit everyone’s lifestyle.
Fairway Social sits in the middle.
It's a private, membership-based golf and social network designed to make playing more consistent, more organized, and more enjoyable.
Members get access to a community of golfers who share similar interests, schedules, and attitudes toward the game.
The Wilmington and Hampstead area continues to grow as professionals, entrepreneurs, and families relocate to coastal North Carolina.
While the region has great golf courses and beautiful coastal scenery, there aren’t many structured communities that bring local golfers together in a meaningful way.
Fairway Social was created to change that.
The goal is to build a local golf community centered around consistency, connection, and shared experiences both on and off the course.
Instead of trying to find people to play with every week, members become part of a network where rounds, events, and opportunities naturally happen.
Fairway Social is intentionally designed to stay small and well-curated. Instead of hundreds of members, the focus is on building a group that genuinely enjoys playing together.
Membership includes opportunities for:
The goal is to create an environment where playing regularly becomes easy and relationships develop naturally over time.
Competitive play designed for everyone
Fairway Social organizes competitive seasons throughout the year, with the number of seasons varying based on weather and scheduling. For 2026, we're planning two seasons to kick things off.
Each season requires a registration fee and includes a mix of formats designed to keep things fresh and engaging for all skill levels.
Seasons feature a mix of individual stroke play, scramble and partner rounds, plus fun competitions like closest to the pin, longest drive, and most birdies.
Course handicaps are calculated for every member to ensure fair competition regardless of skill level. Everyone has a real chance to compete.
Awards are given for best overall individual performance, scramble and team format achievements, and participation contributions throughout the season.
Show up and play. Members earn points simply for participating, rewarding those who are active in the community regardless of their final scores.
The foundation of Fairway Social is simple
We believe in building genuine connections between golfers of all skill levels. Every event and league is designed to bring people together.
Whether you're a seasoned golfer or picking up a club for the first time, there's a place for you at Fairway Social.
We go beyond the game to create events and moments that our members talk about long after the last hole is played.
